A Beautiful Learning Environment
Noosa Adventist College, Cooroy is set on 30 acres of beautiful semi-rural campus in the hinterland of the Sunshine Coast. Offering a co-educational stream of classes from Kindergarten to Year 12, our College is known for its strong community and a secure, nurturing environment for students.
An Enriched Academic Program
Students at Noosa Adventist College are given opportunities to develop a spirit of teamwork, to achieve personal goals, and to develop a strong, positive character. A broad range of experiences are provided to ensure that life at school is always full. We are proud to offer a quality academic program in a supportive environment that allows students to reach their full potential.
Nuturing Spirit, Mind and Body
Recognising that education is more than just academics - Noosa Adventist College engages learning through programs that build the Mind, Body and Heart of each individual. We incorporate our Christian ethos into our programs and encourage students to live by our College values of respect, responsibility effort, compassion, service and integrity. Our College also provides a range of stimulating outdoor activities to further develop the physical aspects of learning.
The College features modern, well-appointed classrooms across both Primary and Secondary campuses, all equipped with reverse-cycle air conditioning.
Children engage in a range of hands-on and creative learning experiences, with access to age-appropriate technology that supports early digital learning.
Primary classrooms are purpose-built and open onto adjacent play areas, complemented by a large undercover learning and recreation space. The Secondary campus includes double-storey learning blocks housing science laboratories, drama and music rooms, lockers, a commercial kitchen and servery, classrooms and student eating areas.
The College also offers excellent outdoor and shared facilities, including multi-purpose tennis courts, basketball and volleyball courts, a large oval, a Library Resource Centre, and a Food Forest Program garden area.
Interschool Basketball and Netball in Secondary.
Private music lessons include piano, voice, guitar, violin, and drums.
The annual Bush Dance and Country Fair is held around July/August each year.
The ethos of Noosa Adventist College is to inspire and lead students into a relationship with God. We believe that each student is precious because they are God’s individual creation with a unique purpose in life. As such, our College is committed to providing a variety of opportunities and support structures that facilitate spiritual and emotional growth during the formative - and sometimes unsettled - teenage years.Â
There are opportunities during both class time and across combined activities on campus for prayer, mentoring, demonstration of values and shared worship/praise. Our college chaplains provide positive support to our Primary and Secondary students.
Pastor Lachlan Harders, Pastor Esther Meale and Pastor David Penate are our College Chaplains. They work in the Primary and Secondary areas with teaching staff and students and are involved in organising and providing a range of services and activities, including Bible Studies, support, Chapel Programs, and Wow Week.

"As parents, we feel incredibly blessed each day that our son attends Noosa Adventist College. At the end of every school day we hear about his dedicated, supportive and caring teacher and fellow students.
Our son's educational needs are consistently monitored and catered for; his academic achievements have and continue to excel.
Noosa Adventist College promotes a wholesome community spirit and we couldn't speak more highly of this wonderful school".
E & P Longmate
"Our child has been with Noosa Adventist College since Prep and is now in Grade 7. We highly recommend the Primary School at Noosa Adventist College as the level of education gained does not compare with other local schools from our various conversations with parents from the Cooroy/Noosa area. We were unsure how our child would cope with a smaller High School, but our concerns have been unfounded. The course material, homework, and extra-curricular sporting activities have provided a stimulus that you would find at any of the larger schools. We have not been disappointed and look forward to our child continuing her High School through Noosa Adventist College. As parents, we believe that a smaller populated high school enhances the teacher-student communication as well as building life-long relationships with other students. I have also found that if we see the younger Grades outside of school and they we have a familiar uniform, they will turn to their parent and tell them that we are at their school - I like that sense of school community"
Mrs Donna Markert
"The Noosa Adventist College really is the coast's best kept secret when it comes to schooling. We transferred our daughter from a State School during Term 1 of her Prep year and have been extremely pleased with our choice. She has had an incredible year with teaching staff that are warm and friendly and take the time to get to know each of their students and tailoring activities to ensure that they are getting the best out of the children. Learning is taken seriously whilst the strong values are evident in all facets of the school. Â
The atmosphere is welcoming from the Principal through to the teaching staff and all support staff -Â nothing is too much trouble. Our daughter has found somewhere that she can learn, grow and discover her inner self in a nurturing environment that has seen her shine beyond our expectations.Â
The small and intimate nature of the school is paramount in ensuring that this beautiful little community that we belong to remains in place for many years to come. We are excited to have our son join the community in 2017 as the first year of the new Kindergarten begins. We have no doubt that this school is the best place for our children."
Mrs Ally Harding
"We have absolutely loved our Kindy experience this year. We have felt that the teachers go over and above to make each family feel part of the Kindy family. They communicate openly about issues and are happy to have a chat when needed. They are authentic and generous with their love for each child and really get to know them and what makes them tick.
Our daughter is always excited about going to Kindy, playing in the lovely outdoor area or engaging in an activity indoors. We couldn’t have asked for a better start to her schooling."Â
Angela Spies
