Droughts, hot summer nights, and most recently – torrential rain have hit the east coast of Australia.
To explain what Science can tell us about the Australia climate, Meteorologist, Dick Whitaker (of the Weather Channel and formerly the Bureau of Meteorology) will be presenting at Barker on the 2nd of March.
All students, teachers, parents and the wider community are invited to this evening presentation to join in the learning so we may all better understand the science of climate.
The evening has been deliberately designed to explain climate phenomena relevant for a Sydney audience, and especially to students undertaking the Earth and Environmental Science Stage 6 Syllabus.
