Taster Day is a very special event for all students who are considering Arden for Year 7, 2022.
Attendance for Arden’s current Year 6 students is compulsory and we strongly recommend that parents attend the morning session (approx. 8.45am-9.45am).
The event is also open to all students currently in Year 6 from other schools, and their parents who might be considering if Arden is the right school for their family.
THE FORMAT OF THE EVENT WILL BE AS FOLLOWS:
8.45am Arrival of students and parents at The Arden Creative Arts Centre.
8.50am Welcome from Mr Anderson, Principal.
8.55am Q & A Forum Part 1 – student focussed.
9.25am Students commence ‘taster’ lessons such as Science, Visual Arts, History, Drama, Geography, TAS or Music.
Q & A Forum Part 2 – parent focussed.
9.45am Parents depart, or tour campus.
2.15pm Lessons complete.
Students return to The Arden Creative Arts Centre.
Farewell from Mr Anderson, Principal.
2.30pm Parents pick up students.
Students should wear their current school uniform. More detailed information will be provided following registration.
Note: This a compulsory event for all Year 6 Arden students. However, parents of Years 6 Arden students who will be attending must register using the form below.
All students and parents who will be new to Arden in Year 7 2022 must register to attend.
