Our Mission
Our philosophy of schooling rests squarely on the belief that a true education encourages young people to question and explore, to develop a strong sense of personal identity, to strive to achieve one's best, and to value the act of serving without losing one's desire to lead. We are a specialist
co-educational boarding and day school that includes students, Prep through to Year 12.
Girl Boarders reside at our separate Locke Street Campus while boy boarders and all our academic precincts are located at Oxenham Street
We have three special but interconnected academic schools:
- Prep to 4 - Junior School
- Years 5 to 8 - Middle School
- Years 9 to 12 - Senior School
Oxenham Street Campus: Junior School (Prep-Year 4); Middle School (Year 5 – Year 8); Senior School ( Year 9 – Year 12).
Boys Boarding facilities – gymnasium, agricultural science facilities (cattle, sheep, horses, small cropping), stables, horse yards, ovals, tennis courts.
Pipe band, Choir, Equestrian, Cattle Club, Sheep Club.
Our philosophy rests on the belief that a true education encourages young people to question and explore, to develop a strong sense of personal identity, to strive to achieve one's best, and to value the act of serving without losing one's desire to lead. We are a school committed to co-education, to boarding, to our proud history and to the ideals of the Uniting Church.
I look forward to meeting you as part of our community as we work to provide the very best we can for the children in our care.

A school with country heart
Choosing the right school for your child is a significant investment in their future. It can be a considerable decision to match the interests and desires of your child with the right environment to facilitate their academic and extra-curricular growth, whilst ensuring they develop into a well-rounded individual who is prepared for life beyond school.
For these reasons, The SCOTS PGC College, a co educational day and boarding school in Warwick, Queensland, places a strong emphasis on the foundations of modern schooling with the added measure of engendering in students and staff alike, a common set of heartfelt country values.
Scots has a long history in teaching excellence and provides three separate sub-schools for children across Junior (Prep to Year 4), Middle (Year 5 to Year 8) and Senior (Year 9 to Year 12). The separate sub-schools approach helps children develop to their capacity with specialist teachers, appropriate curriculum and activities geared to their interests and age levels.
All students at Scots benefit from small class sizes with personal care and attention from teachers. SCOTS curriculum is based on the national framework and students are challenged to excel through encouragement and are given the ability to learn from their mistakes.
A wide range of co-curricular activities including drama, music, pipe band and a world-class Equestrian programme is offered. Children can choose sporting pursuits inclusive of track and field, rugby, netball, basketball, hockey, swimming, futsal and a touch football excellence programme.
One of the leading boarding schools in Queensland, The SCOTS PGC College, has separate boarding campuses for boys and girls from Year 6 to Year 12. Students are housed in modern rooms and have access to fun common areas, extra tuition, monitored IT resources and weekend activities, all under the guidance of our housemaster/mistress.
A unique aspect to Scots philosophy is that all students dine together each day and are provided with healthy nutritious meals prepared by a dietician. Students can choose from healthy salads, fruits and a delicious hot buffet.
Should you be interested in viewing The SCOTS PGC College as a potential school for your child, we invite you to come to our campus where our Registrar will provide you with a personalised tour of the College and answer any of your questions.
