To his surprise and delight, Matthew Flinders Anglican College Principal Mr Stuart Meade has been honoured as a Life Member of the Australian Schools Rugby Union (ASRU) by its President Mr Kevin Culliver OAM.
Mr Meade was unaware he was to be recognised for his three decades of volunteer contribution to young people’s development through the ASRU when he attended the Flinders Secondary School morning assembly on Wednesday, 28 April.

Primary School students at Matthew Flinders Anglican College in Buderim are excited to explore and learn in their newly opened $1.3 million Wonderarium.
The Wonderarium learning centre has been designed as a place of wonder, awe and curiosity.
It is part of the five-year Flinders Masterplan to construct a suite of agile contemporary learning spaces for the College’s 1,380 students from Prep to Year 12.
Other newly opened Masterplan facilities include the Flagship Centre for Years 5 and 6 students, and the Year 7 Precinct for students in their first year of Secondary School. A state-of-the-art Design Centre is next.

A new elite sports training program is on offer to student athletes at Matthew Flinders Anglican College on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, delivered by the Sunshine Coast Sports Institute (SCSI).
Flinders and the SCSI have joined forces to deliver the SCSI @ Flinders Fitness Centre High Performance Program before and after school on campus in the College gym.
